SOHC engines

General information

This Part of Head is devoted not connected with extraction from the car (in situ) to repair of the V6 SOHC engine of a series of VG30E 3.0 l. The description of all procedures demanding dismantle of the power unit, is provided in the Part the General major maintenance of the engine of the present Chapter.

Descriptions of the most part of considered procedures are made on the basis of the assumption that the power unit remains on the regular place in an impellent compartment of the car. In view of told in case the engine is already dismantled and established on a workbench or the assembly stand, many of described steps should be lowered.
