Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see. The section Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft), forward covers and a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Section Removal and installation of a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of a drive of GRM).
2. Having accurately hooked two screw-drivers or big mount, remove from a shaft pin a cogwheel, - try not to damage the case of the oil pump.
3. If to remove a wheel by a poddevaniye it is not possible, it is necessary to drill pair of openings in its face surface, to cut in them a carving, and then to use a stripper of boltovy type.

The drilled cogwheel is subject to replacement!

4. Remove internal directing a belt, - try to remember, outside it was established by what party on a shaft pin, in case of need put the corresponding marking.

5. Having accurately hooked a small screw-driver, take an old epiploon from the landing nest, - try not to damage a shaft pin.

6. Before installation grease an internal wall of an epiploon with a thin layer of universal greasing.

7. Of a piece of a pipe, a big flat washer and a long bolt make the adaptation for press fittings of a new epiploon in landing a nest. External diameter of a pipe should be equal, or slightly less external diameter of an epiploon, it is necessary to remove facets from keen edges. The carving of a bolt should have the same size, as a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft. The washer should rest with guarantee against a face surface of an opravka and provide a reliable support for a bolt head. Fill an epiploon in a landing nest, then establish the adaptation, screw a bolt in an end face of a pin of a shaft, and, tightening it a key, press an epiploon. As soon as the epiploon will rest against a nest bottom, the tightening of a bolt should be stopped.

8. Put on a shaft pin internal directing a gas-distributing belt (the concave party outside).
9. Make sure that the shponka did not drop out of the groove in a pin.
10. Slightly grease with universal greasing an internal surface of a cogwheel and plant it on a shaft pin.
11. Installation of the remained components is made as it should be the return to an order of their dismantle. The description of procedure of adjustment of effort of a tension of a gas-distributing belt is provided in Section 7. track, that all fixture was tightened with demanded effort.
