Removal and installation of heads of cylinders

Before starting to work, wait final cooling of the engine.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove chains of a drive of GRM with asterisks (see. Section Removal, check of a condition and installation of a chain and asterisks of a drive of GRM).

Try not to deduce a cranked shaft from the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder.

2. Moving as it should be the return shown on an illustration, turn out bolts of fastening of a back cover of a drive of GRM.

3. Remove a back cover of a drive of GRM from the engine.

If the cover "became attached" to any of heads or to the block, обстучите its hammer through wooden whetstone. As a last resort cut through a layer of the stiffened hermetic a shpatlevochny knife. In order to avoid violation of tightness of landing of components at all do not make attempts to hook a cover the lever under an interfaced surface.

4. Remove the bottom section of the inlet pipeline (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).
5. Take from a head of cylinders camshafts and толкателиклапанов (see. Section Removal and installation of camshafts and pushers of valves).

6. Mark and remove from a head the remained components, such as unions of connection of hoses of an okhladitelny path, a tube, cables, lines of communication, etc.

7. By means of a prutkovy key of the corresponding size in stages (on 1/4 turns for an approach) gradually weaken bolts of fastening of a head so that there was a possibility of their reversing manually. In order to avoid head deformation weakening of fixture should be made as it should be, the return to an order of its tightening.

8. Remove a head from the block of cylinders. In case of need carefully hook a head not giving in to office mount under a molding ledge at level of an interfaced surface.

9. Having removed from a head external components, prepare it for cleaning and condition check.

The description of procedure of check of a condition of a head of cylinders is provided in the Part the General major maintenance of the engine of the present Chapter.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Interfaced surfaces of a head and the block should absolutely pure and dry.

2. Having scratched out the remains of a material build laying and coal deposits, wipe surfaces the rags moistened in acetone. Existence on interfaced surfaces of traces of oil at the moment of installation of a head can lead to violation of tightness of landing of laying and, as a result, - to development of leaks. Processing the block, закупорьте openings of cylinders rags in order to avoid hit in them small garbage and various extraneous subjects (as a last resort, carefully vacuum cylinders).

3. Check interfaced surfaces of a head and the block on existence of deep scratches, задиров and other damages. Easy defects can be eliminated by means of a fine-grained emery paper. In more serious cases the unique alternative is the pro-point of components, or their replacement.
4. A tap of the suitable size banish carving openings under bolts of fastening of heads. Having finished pro-race, blow openings the compressed air.

5. Estimate degree of a pulling of fixing bolts. If the difference of diameters measured in specified points exceeds value of 0.11 mm, the corresponding bolt is subject to replacement. Serially clamping bolts suitable for further application in a vice for a head, walk on their carving lerky, - existence in rounds of a carving of old hermetic, dirt and products of corrosion results in discrepancy of real effort of a tightening of fixture to indications of the indicator of a dinamometrichesky key.

6. Estimate degree of not planeness of a head (see. Part General major maintenance of the engine of the present Chapter). Check also interfaced to the inlet pipeline and a final collector of a surface.
7. Establish on a head the external components removed from it.
8. Clear a back cover of a drive of GRM and bolts of its fastening of traces of old hermetic

9. According to the specified scheme impose on an interfaced surface of a cover fresh RTV hermetic. Enclose in the corresponding landing nests from the forward party of the block new sealing rings. Putting on directing pins, press a back cover of a drive of GRM to surfaces of the block and heads of cylinders, then, moving in strictly certain order, screw and tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort.

10. Enclose in a head camshafts and pushers of valves (see. Section Removal and installation of camshafts and pushers of valves). Establish chains of a drive of GRM (see. Section Removal, check of a condition and installation of a chain and asterisks of a drive of GRM). Further assembly is made as it should be the return to an order of dismantle of components.
11. If during service of a head replacement of components of the klapanny mechanism was made, make adjustment of gaps of valves (see. Section Check and adjustment of gaps of valves).
12. Do not forget to fill system of cooling and to replace impellent oil and the oil filter (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
13. Start the engine and check it on existence of signs of leakages of oil and cooling liquid. Estimate correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition (see. Head of Control and routine maintenance).
