System of electronic injection of fuel (EFI) - the general informationAll cars considered in the real Management are equipped with system of the electronic distributed injection of fuel (EFI). Injection is carried out consistently to inlet ports of each of combustion chambers as ignition and in the quantity defined by the current requirements of the engine. It is the share of each of cylinders of the engine on one injector of injection. Injectors are mounted on assembly of the inlet pipeline which top section represents the delivery chamber providing optimum conditions for supply of air in an inlet path and dosages with its demountable throttle chamber (the throttle case).
The main component (think-tank) of system of injection is the onboard processor called also by the module of management of functioning of the power unit (RSM). RSM analyzes data continuously arriving on it from various information sensors and counts optimum at the moment structure of an air and fuel mix. The system provides also automatic compensation of changes of such external factors, as height of position of the car above sea level, loading and engine turns.
Supply of fuel to the highway of system is provided with means of a high-pressure head pogruzhny electric gasoline pump. Being pumped over via the fuel filter, fuel on system of gasoline pipe lines arrives to the fuel highway of EFI system.
The electric injectors which are carrying out dosed-out injection of fuel are included in structure of assembly of the fuel highway is direct to inlet ports of chambers of combustion of the engine. Besides injectors the regulator of pressure of the fuel, constantly supporting pressure of fuel is included in assembly of the fuel highway at the set level also. Excess of fuel arriving in the highway on a returnable gasoline pipe line is taken away back in a fuel tank.
Injectors represent electromagnetic valves of a constant course. The main components of an injector are: an operating electromagnet, a plunzher and the needle valve. All listed details are placed in the general case. When passing an electric current on the solenoid coil the needle valve is slightly opened, fuel under a pressure fills a cavity of the case of an injector and выпрыскивается through a nozzle in the chamber of combustion of the corresponding cylinder. The amount of injected fuel is defined by duration of time of opening of the valve, i.e., duration of giving of tension on the electromagnet coil. For the purpose of the restriction of a current passed through injectors, electroconducting of chains of the last turns on resistors.
Lasting inclusions of injectors RSM operates. In memory of the module base values of time of opening of valves for various combinations of entering parameters (engine turns, quantity and temperature of soaked-up air) are put. Necessary information arrives on the module in the form of signals from the corresponding sensors of the engine.
